A computer science degree from a university in Canada, the U.S. or Europe could be a valuable stepping stone toward a career in the technology industry.
The job market for computer science graduates is strong in the United States, according to the U:1.8 million workers with a bachelor’s degree in computing in 2017, up from 1.5 million in 2016, according a new report by the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
The U.K. ranked second with 2.1 million workers, followed by the U, Germany and Japan.
Computer scientists are increasingly looking for work in high-tech fields, including healthcare and the financial services industry.
In the first half of 2019, the number of people with computer science degrees in the U., Canada and the U-K.
increased by more than 10,000.
But they were less common in the European Union.
There is still a lot of demand for computer scientists in the tech industry, according Mark Moulds, a principal analyst at recruiting firm Mercer, which tracks tech companies.
“It’s a really important skill, and it’s definitely an entry point for entry-level jobs,” he said.
Many companies have programs for computer engineers or software developers, he added.
Computer scientists tend to be more creative and problem-solvers than engineers, according the report.
Moulds said the computer science program can be a great starting point for a career as a software engineer, and that it offers opportunities to learn about computer science and get involved with software development.
Companies like Google, Amazon and Facebook are investing in computer scientists, but there is still an issue in the recruitment of computer scientists as they move into software development, Mould said.
The U.N. Economic Commission for Europe, a body that promotes international trade, reported last year that there are more than 50 million computer scientists worldwide.
The number of computer science jobs in the EU grew by 3.3 percent in the past year, compared with a 4.5 percent gain in the previous year.
The report says computer science can be more than a degree.
Computer science graduates have more options and the ability to make their own choices.
They also tend to earn higher salaries, according as the U.:1.6 million in 2017.
Computer scientists earn $50,000 to $70,000 a year, which is comparable to other fields such as accounting, business administration and finance.
The American Association of University Women, which represents more than 4,000 women in the STEM fields, said that computer science was the best path to success for women.
“Computer science can enable you to be a successful business leader, a successful engineer, a great designer, a leader of teams and of a team, and a leader in science,” said Marisa Krizhevsky, chairwoman of the group’s women’s committee.
U.S.-based software company SAP announced this month that it is adding more than 1,500 computer science majors to its workforce.
