PSU computers are usually considered “basically a cheap computer” in comparison to the likes of the Dell XPS or Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, but a new system from a Chinese manufacturer could give PC gamers a whole new option when it comes to cheap gaming computers.
A Chinese company called iHome, based in Shanghai, has developed a system that is essentially a cheap gaming PC.
Its name is the iHome PC and it comes in a variety of models including the ThinkPad x360, iHome PS1, iHeartRadio, and the iHeart radio-enabled iHome.
There are also some other peripherals like a USB hub, HDMI monitor, and a keyboard/mouse combo.
It’s all powered by an Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 graphics card and comes with an 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, and 4TB HDD.
The iHome iHome has an AMD Radeon R9 290X GPU.
However, the iHomes PC also has some other perks.
Firstly, it comes with a $1,500 discount code for free shipping.
This means you can get the PC for as low as $1.99, and if you’re a fan of the AMD graphics card, you can pick it up for $1 less.
Second, it can play games on its own, with the iPlayer software on the computer allowing you to stream games and other online content to it from your phone, laptop, or tablet.
Third, it has a microSD card slot so you can add extra storage for more games and apps.
Finally, if you don’t mind the extra cost, you could also pick up a pair of headphones to add to the mix.
iHome is also offering the iLoveTV app to watch YouTube and Netflix on the PC, so you could stream movies and shows from your smartphone.
Other cool features include a 4K webcam, a 1TB hard drive, and wireless internet.
Although the iHSi model doesn’t come with any other peripherality, it is also an excellent option for those who don’t want to compromise on hardware.
It’s also cheaper than buying a new gaming PC, but it’s worth noting that if you decide to purchase the i LoveTV, you’ll need to pay $1 for a free 2-year license.
